About the Recipe
An earthy soup developed to nourish people after deep energy or healing work. Very supportive for any psychedelic or entheogenic journeying. Or after a long day walking in nature. Using the vegetables of the Earth, this soup will immediately help restore your body to full vitality. If you've felt unsettled, or flighty/airy energy, this soup with all of its flavours will bring you back into your body through the sensation of taste.
Ingredients
1/2 pumpkin
vegetable stock
zuccini
carrot
3-4 mushrooms
white potato
tumeric + black pepper
cinnamon
coconut oil
2 cloves garlic
1 small onion
coconut flakes
half lemon
tamari almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Dice pumpkin into small cubes. Heat oil in large pan add tumeric, black pepper to blend into oil. Add cubes of pumpkin to oil and sprinkle on cinnamon. Allow the cubes to soften in the oil for about 4-5 minutes. Or you may bake in oven for 10 minutes for roasted flavour.
Step 2
Cover pumpkin cubes with vegetable stock with approx. 3cm over for plenty of water to soften cubes into a soup consitency. When cubes are soft and melt into water with soft pressure applied from fork, bring the pan off the stove and mash the pumpkin into a soup consitency.
Step 3
Chop all vegetables into small chunky peices. Add onion, garlic and spices to taste. Next add in vegetables and cook until all vegetables are soft.
Step 4
Add in coconut flakes at the end. When finished, pour into your favour large bowl, squeeze lemon on top. Add in tamari almonds if you like and enjoy.
